Yes. I still read print magazines and tonight I was happy to discover two great columns, right next to each other, in the same issue of New York Magazine. One was a column by Kurt Andersen on the Israel vs. the Arab world war (Truly Inconvenient Truths)and the other was John Heilmann’s short profile on Mark Cuban titled The South’s New Mouth. I don’t know if either of these need much introduction. Kurt Andersen is my favorite living essayist and Mark Cuban is one of the most interesting people working in the media business today. These two columns pretty much explain it all.

In other news: Olympic Gold Medalist snowboarder Ross Rebagliati is suing the creators of Whistler the TV show (a show that we watch religiously) because he claims they based a character on him without giving him any compensation. Click here for the full story.
